I just met up with a friend who is doing what they call One Story. It is quite amazing! They work to reach people who don't have a written language and probably will never read even if they did have a written language. I was told about a group of people in South America called the Uma. They believe everything from outside their village, especially books, are spiritually unclean. They even have elaborate purification ceremonies for people of their own tribe who have lived on the outside. They would be one people that could benefit from One Story.
